Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service

Anna joined Café Imports in January 2008 to help with sales, marketing, customer service, and sample roasting and she enjoys learning about the industry from different angles. Assisting with the roasting for our daily cuppings has helped her understand the needs of our customers and her love for the industry grows with every cup.

Before Café Imports, Anna was throwing pots…first to get an A, and then to make some cash. She graduated college with a degree in studio art and then headed north, to Alaska. It was there she first heard the term “cupping,” drank a locally roasted Ethiopian Harrar, and realized that she shouldn’t want to hide the taste of coffee with creams and fillers.

This is a year of firsts for Anna. She will be running her first full marathon and is getting married to a sailor named Matt.

Specialties:

• Running in circles around local lakes
• Cooking simple, fresh meals
• Reading books on history and political commentary
• Throwing pots and occasionally venturing into another medium
• Playing with her 20 nieces and nephews, and then giving them back to their parents
