Much of Bolivia’s coffee production is organized into regional cooperatives. This coffee comes from the CENAPROC Cooperative. CENAPROC co-op is in the Yungas region, located near the city of Caranavi in the La Paz region. The coffee is mostly Typica variety. The cooperative’s coffee is certified both organic and fair trade. This co-op has twice won the Cup of Excellence, and grows coffee on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Occidental.
