Hear me out... Recently arrived are some of the best coffees that India has to offer, both Arabicas and Robustas. For those of you (you know who you are) who use Robustas for that added body, these are the best you can find. Pricier than what you'll expect out of a Robusta, these coffees are used in competition espressos blends. We also have some interesting single-varietal Arabicas. The IDs of these coffees are 1797-1805. We have some varietal info about them in Beanologies. Let us know if you're interested! Costa Rica Microlots (GrainPro)May 13, 2009
They're in! And along with them is a wealth of information. You can find traceability certs and trip notes in our Blog, cup profiles and varietal/farm information in Beanologies, photos in our photo album, and availability on our Offerings Page. Calling All Espressos!!May 27, 2009
We have a number of pulped-natural, microlot Brasils. We cupped the arrivals today and recommend them for a truly great espresso blend. These coffees are extremely clean, sweet with cashew and orange notes. We greenies don't shy away from espressos! Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for a blog of our NEW PULPED-NATURAL MICROLOT BRASIL ESPRESSO "CUPPING." Jamin is going to play with a couple of different roasts and we're going to sip until we can sip no more. We're excited to share our results with you! The item number for these coffees are: Apaneca El SalvadorMay 27, 2009
This El Salvador from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain Range is certainly one of our latest favorites. It is a blend from five different lots of coffee that we cupped from origin. Our notes: Cranberry, mandarin orange, chocolate, sweet, high acidity, good structure. Item number: 1882 Get it while it's fresh! P.S. We included this coffee in our recent espresso tasting, and it was fantastic. At a medium espresso roast, we found tons of ripe fruit, caramel, and creamy-smooth body. |
