More Kenyans!

Along with our Top Lot Kenyan Microlots we just got arrivals of three other outstanding Kenyans:

French Mission: We offered this coffee last year for the first time. French Mission is the varietal of coffee bean and it is grown in the Chania Estate. Our notes: Vegetal, winey, dry acidy, full body, caramel, lime, rhubarb, star fruit. Head over to the Beanology for P1875 for more information.

Wamuguma: Wagamuga? Wamagumo? Wumaguma? Jason snapped a picture of the actual sign for the washing station while in Kenya and so the debate is over. This coffee comes from the Ritho Coop. The profile of this year's cup is a bit different from years past. It has a dry, sweet acidity and smooth body with grapefruit and lemon notes. Item number is 1901 and a Beanology is available. Remember WAMUGUMA is the correct spelling.

EAFCA AA Top Lot: This lot won third place at the Taste of Harvest during the 2008 EAFCA Conference. It possesses the collective favorite characteristic of Cafe Imports for Kenyan coffees...the elusive black currant! Other notes are balanced, sweet, grapefruit, blackberry, citrus, complex fruit acidity. Item number P1893.
