Kenya French Mission in Grainpro

We offered this coffee last year for the first time. French Mission refers to the varietal of coffee from this estate. It's believed to be an early Bourbon brought by French missionaries to Kenya. This rare variety is thought by some to be a predecessor the to the more popular varieties such as SL-28 and SL-34. This coffee is grown in the Chania Estate. This coffee arrived in June and is holding up great thanks to the hermetic GrainPro bags. We cupped it again yesterday and found these notes: Rich, citric, starfruit, winey, full body, fruity, caramel, lime, rhubarb, lemon, balanced.
