Organic WASHED Ethiopian!

With all of the difficulty in finding quality lots of Ethiopians this year, we are so relieved to have our first shipment of new crop washed Yirgacheffes in! We anticipated problems getting this coffee on time (new Ethis should be shipping by mid-summer) and so we had this lot put in GrainPro bags at origin. Even with all of the emails exchanged, tags, and BIG BOLD LETTERS spelling out that this coffee is in GrainPro-NO NOT USE HOOKS, the coffee was hooked in a 3rd party warehouse in the States. We are happy that they were at least protected during their long journey here and the cup has not been affected.

This coffee is item #2059. It is Organic, a Yirgacheffe from the Koke coop. There is a short Beanology for this coffee and our cupping notes are: Lemon, jasmine, fruit tea, floral, herbaceous.

It is located both in New Jersey and Minnesota.

Kona

This may be the only time you'll see me use "favorite" and "Kona" in the same sentance. We just approved a Kona Fancy (#2174) in time for the holidays. This is actually a pretty nice cup with notes of caramel, sweetness, and pineapple...better than a lot of Konas that we see! Keep you're eyes peeled on the offerings page for it's arrival, it is likely to be here within two weeks, in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Aloha!

Organic Guatemalan

Although these are not brand new, they are still current crop and very fresh. We found 20 bags of this rogue Organic Guatemalan a couple of months ago. They didn't come with much information except that they cupped out REALLY GOOD! We were able to get our hands on 120 bags that just arrived but they are going fast. Definitely one of our favorite offerings right now with notes of: citric acidity, caramel, lemon, hazelnut, creamy body. Both 2084 & 2158 are the exact same lot. Try them out today!
