Jamin Haddox spends his days tucked away in the roasting lab analyzing coffee samples and meticulously preparing daily cuppings.

A casual coffee drinker since his youth, Jamin's epiphany with specialty coffee came after his first taste of press pot coffee. After experiencing how eminently more complex, flavorful, and rewarding quality coffee could be, he was hooked and compelled to discover everything he could about coffee roasting. This curiousity fanned into passion as his journey of discovery led him to better and better coffees, culminating in several transcendental experiences with perfectly extracted shots of espresso.

Before his fascination with coffee brought him to Café Imports, Jamin spent several years touring as a drummer, working as a graphic designer, remodeling homes, and managing a local coffee roaster/retailer. When he's not playing with coffee, Jamin can be found generally enjoying life. His hobbies include travel, cooking, and wine. He has also been known to consume a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's in a single sitting. Jamin appreciates good company, good conversation, and a good cigar. Jamin is recently married and resides in Bloomington, MN, with his wife, Jayneen.
