Buying Spot coffee means taking coffee that we currently have in our warehouse. For a list of current availability, please check the coffee offerings section of the website. Any coffee that has "Café Imports" as the location is available in our Minnesota warehouse and coffee that has "Continental Terminals" as the location is available out of New Jersey. Purchasing coffees in full-pallet increments ensures the best value in shipping. See shipping for more information.

Purchasing Coffee Forward is placing an order with us for future shipment. The coffees may not be in the country yet, or even ripe on the trees! Buying coffee forward is an excellent way for you to source and price your coffee out in the future. When you buy coffee forward, you will be entering into a contract with Café Imports for the specific coffee for a given delivery period (coffee taken beyond the contracted date is subject to additional carry charges). You can lock in the price if you like, or just source your coffee for the future, guaranteeing that you get what you want, when you want it. Additionally, when the coffee arrives, you can take the coffee as you need from our warehouse. There is a minimum purchase necessary in order to purchase coffee forward and a storage charge of 1.5% per month.

No minimum purchase. Café Imports sells from multi-container forward sells to single bag spot sells. We even have a limited "Broken Bag" program where we split a bag and sell in 25lb increments*. Although it is more economical to buy in full bags and in full pallet increments, sometimes small shops would like the freedom to buy 8 different 25lb sacks. We are here to buy and sell the best coffee in the world and are willing to do what it takes to share the love of the beans.

Payment for new customers is by cash, advance payment by check, cashier's checks, credit cards, and wire transfers. After we have a history (3 or more orders) with you and a completed credit application, Café Imports may extend terms of net 30. This will be based on your credit application, your specific needs, and our discretion. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all delinquent accounts.

Please note:Café Imports is a wholesale business and therefore is not permitted to sell coffee to the general public. All clients must have a federal tax identification number tied to a bona fide roasting business. Thank you for understanding.
