Peru, famous for its mild cup profiles and relative affordability, has long been an appealing blend component to roasters worldwide, however, in recent years our green buyers have explored new partnerships to source and develop exciting microlot offerings of great complexity. Whether you are looking for a reliable base for a house blend or a standout single-origin offering, we are happy to guide you through the vast possibilities that Peruvian coffee represents.
Our partnerships in Peru are among some of our tightest and most well-established relationships. For years we have worked closely with Lima Coffees to explore Regional Select and Microlot offerings from Cajamarca that are as exceptional as they are sturdy, proving that Peru has much more to offer beyond the blender options the country has historically built its reputation on. We cup and approve coffees, visit farms, and continually discuss possible progressive developments with our partners, as we strive to meet the needs of our customers.

Reach out to your sales rep about your needs in October and early November. By getting in touch ahead of time, you can take advantage of a larger selection of offerings to choose from.
Samples for FTO offerings from Peru will become available in early November. We expect Regional Select and Microlot samples to become available for cupping and approval later in the month.
FTO coffees have already shipped. Regional Select offerings have been approved and are awaiting shipment confirmation. We expect to see Microlot offerings shipping soon.

Our producer partners and counterparties confirm that the harvest this year has been earlier than predicted.
We have already cupped samples from Peru this year that have been of higher quality than the standard of the last two years.
Due to pandemic disruptions, ongoing logistical bottlenecks have resulted in a global shipping backlog and a shortage of containers has affected the capacity to ship from Peru. As a result, we are facing delays in shipments.
