View Beanology

Martiniano owns both Finca Escapulario and Finca Rancho Bonito, both of which placed very well in the Lo Mejor competition, and he says his wife of 18 yearsis an essential part of his success. He started farming coffee when he was 16 years old, and he is considered one of the highest-quality producers in the region.

He has been able to make significant improvements in the management of his farm and crop:In 2009 he bought a big diesel generator for the farm, and in 2010 he purchased a 20-quintale drier. All of these components are adding vital support to his quest for some of the best coffee in Mexico.
