Working with Us

EXPLORE OUR OFFERINGS

Buying “SPOT” coffee means taking coffee that we currently have in our warehouse. For a list of current availability, please check the coffee offerings section of our website. (You can also see future offerings by clicking on AFLOAT to see all coffees on the water en route to us, or OPEN to see all coffees that have been contracted but not yet shipped from their country of origin.)

Sort by country, certification, processing type, or even flavour profile. We have worked hard to make an offerings page that fits the way our customers buy coffee. If you have feedback, please let us know how we can make it better.

Purchasing coffees in full-pallet (10-bag) increments ensures the best value in shipping. See our shipping page for more information.

CONTRACTING

Contracting coffee with us is easy, and can serve several purposes.

Customers may build contracts to secure a supply of coffees that are already available in our warehouse. This allows a roaster to guarantee that a certain amount of coffee is available in their position to be released as needed, and also saves space in their roastery by utilizing our warehousing instead of finding space in your facility.

Customers may also purchase forward contracts, which allows a roaster to secure a supply of coffee that has not yet shipped from the growing country, or even before the harvest has begun. Forward contracts can be written basis of pre-ship or arrival samples, or they can be price-fixed to secure an advantageous market rate. We have a variety of contracting and hedging tools for your use and benefit, and we are happy to help you find the purchasing strategy that makes the most sense for you and your business.

Feel free to contact us via e-mail with any questions about the various contract options that exist.

SAMPLING

Sampling is free and we encourage you to take advantage of the option in order to calibrate with your sales representative, so we can better understand the types of coffees you are searching for. We provide 200g samples of green coffee to customers with intent to calibrate or purchase.

PAYMENTS

We accept payment via wire transfers.

After establishing an order history (minimum of 3 completed orders), Cafe Imports Europe may extend terms of net 30 days, based on your credit history, your specific needs, and our discretion. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all delinquent accounts.

The minimum purchase is just one full bag of coffee: We pride ourselves on being able to serve roasters of all sizes, needs, and styles.

PRICING

Pricing is not published on our website due to daily market-based changes and different pricing structures for spot and contracted orders. For access to our current price lists, please e-mail our office.

WCR CHECK-OFF FUND PARTICIPATION

We are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to opt in to the World Coffee Research check-off fund. Participating roasters can pledge to contribute one Euro cent, penny Sterling, or U.S. cent (€0.01 / £0.01 / $0.01) per kilo of coffee purchased through Cafe Imports Europe, who will remit the funds on a quarterly basis to the WCR.

Read more and register to participate at our World Coffee Research check-off fund page.

Please note: Cafe Imports Europe is a wholesale business and therefore is not permitted to sell coffee to the general public. Thank you for understanding.
