Regional Select is aproject we have created in Colombia meant to highlight the unique profiles we have found are inherent in specific microregions within Colombia. The regions we highlight are Huila, Nariño, Cauca, and Tolima.

We think that the terroir or soil, sun weather and placement on the planet contribute largely to the flavor of these coffees when picked ripe and handled properly.

La Esperanza is a small community located outside of the town of Bruselas, just a few miles southwest of Pitalito, Colombia. This specific area maintains one of the highest concentrations of land devoted to the preservation of natural watersheds. Congruently, a conservation strategy that promotes a multitude of environmentally-sound programs is in place. These programs include community mapping, environmental territorial planning, and a monitoring of biodiversity in the area. In fact, it is the unique biodiversity itself that is an integral factor in the reality of these Regional Select coffees. As Colombia is one of the most diverse countries in the world, not only in plant and animal species, but in micro-climates and regions, there is a constant strive to highlight these unique characteristics. We hope to achieve this with our regional select program.
