Las Palmas is located in the Municipality of San Jerónimo Coatlán, in the district of Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. Finca Las Palmas has 5 hactares of organic coffee. Throughout the year, strategies for soil preservation are practiced during farming by Las Palmas producer Juan López, and environmental actions are taken to preserve local vegetation and fuana.
Besides organic coffee production, the Main economic sector for the community sorrounding Las Palmas are corn and bean farming, as well as cattle raising.
This is Café Imports' first lot from Las Palmas, purchased at the 2015 Lo Mejor de Mexico competition in Chiapas.
