Minneroasta 2017

You’re invited to the grand opening of the Mill City Roasters Campus for the First Annual “Minneroasta!”

Minneroasta is a two-day event taking place Oct 20–21, immediately following the first two-day Introduction to Commercial Roasting Class (Oct 18–19), presented by Mill City Roasters and Cafe Imports.

This two-day extravaganza is part comprehensive and advanced roasting-education event, part hip and happening party, and part vibrant dialogue—with a couple of playful competitions for fabulous prizes thrown in, just to keep it interesting.
Minneroasta 2017 will be headlined by our special guest instructor, SCA specialized instructor, and world-renowned  coffee educator Rob Hoos, author of Modulating the Flavor Profile of Coffee: One Roaster’s Manifesto. He will be joined by the fine team of educators at Mill City Roasters: Steve Green, Derrek De La Paz, and Eliza Lovett; as well as Cafe Imports’ Joe Marrocco.
We’re pulling the community together to give you a couple days to access to the machines, techniques, and people that you are both interested in and most likely need to know in order to move the needle on your own coffee quality and profitability.
** Space is limited, and registration is required. ** For those of you who can’t make it, there will be a live stream available for several portions of the event, including Focus on the Roast and the Cuppers Challenge. **
Special thanks to event sponsors Buhler, Pacific Foods Barista Series, Baratza, Byrd & Belle, and Roast Magazine.
