Holiday Carrier Update 2020

Posted on November 18th, 2020

Well, friends, it’s coming up on the winter holiday season here in the U.S.A., which means two things: One, that we’ve almost made it to the end of 2020 (hooray!), and two, that it’s time for you to mark your calendars with service interruptions from domestic freight carriers, so nothing comes between you and your delicious coffee orders.

Our freight partners are predicting a record shipping year since fewer people will be exchanging gifts in person, which means that estimated transit times may be longer than anticipated. Weather will also always be a determining factor when it comes to transit times, so try to leave yourself a little extra buffer if you can.

Here is what we do know:

  • Thanksgiving: No freight carriers will be operating on November 26–27
  • Christmas: No freight carriers will be operating on December 24–25
  • New Years Day: No freight carriers will be operating on January 1, 2021

We also want to make sure you have a full warehouse-closure schedule, so you can plan your releases accordingly:
