The Legendary Coffee Exchange is a coffee swap between roasters with the sole purpose of drawing human connections across the industry. In short, you throw a bag of coffee into the pool and draw someone else’s coffee out. You’ll take that coffee home to brew it up however you’d like and then connect with that roaster to discuss! What’s more legendary than exchanging coffee and making friends across the country?

To make it even more legendary, we’ve partnered with Ikawa again for this year’s exchange! One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win an Ikawa Pro 50 Sample Roaster.

Here’s how it works:

• Participation is free and open to any roaster attending the SCA Expo in Houston, TX – April 25-27, 2025.
• To join the Exchange, simply bring a bag of coffee and two (2) business cards to the show!
• Coffee Drop-Off: Bring your bag of coffee (preferably 8-16oz) to the Cafe Imports Booth (1236) anytime on Friday the 25th or Saturday the 26th.
• We’ll tag one business card to your bag and swap your coffee on the spot! The second business card will go in the drawing.
  • Don’t fret! If you don’t have business cards, we’ll have blank cards available for you to fill out
• Sunday, April 27, 10:00 am: We’ll hop on Instragam live to draw the winner! If you’re our lucky roaster, we’ll be reaching out right away to connect and hand you your brand new Ikawa Sample Roaster.
• After you enjoy Expo, travel home safe, enjoy your new coffee, and reach out to the roaster whose coffee you received to connect to let them know what you think!
