Each year, we set ourselves an objective to do the most good we can, as close to home as we can, be that near our offices or the places and people we source coffee with. That’s where Progress Projects come in. We commit 1% of net profit to community-focused organizations chosen by the people who know those places best, our own teammates. How often do you get a chance to feel like a kid again? There’s something about the whir of pedals, the swish of an air pump, and the wind in your face that can take you right back if you grew up on two wheels. When local not-for-profit Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio (CLUES) put out a call for their holiday gift drive at the same time we were hosting our All Staff get together, it was a perfect opportunity to do some teambuilding while supporting a cause we believe in.
