We had so many wonderful roasters participate in the LCE last spring, we just had to open up another round this year! At Cafe Imports, we’re all about bringing people together through a shared passion for coffee. During this time when our social interactions are still limited, we’ve really missed the diverse coffee community that we are all a part of.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Get matched with another coffee roaster.

  • Sign up!
  • Sign-ups are open from November 1-10.
  • We’ll introduce you to your exchange partner via email.

 

2. Send an 8-16 oz. bag of a single-origin coffee from the coffee-growing region you selected to your exchange partner.

 

3. Cup your own coffee alongside your exchange partner’s.

  • You can find our in-house cupping form here, and watch a video featuring Cafe Imports sensory analysis director Ian Fretheim for more information on how to use it. (If you prefer to do your own thing, that’s great, too. Only use what’s helpful.)

 

4. Carve out some time to connect with your exchange partner via email, Zoom, FaceTime, or whatever works to share feedback.

 

5. Let us know how it went!

  • We’ll send out a quick survey after the exchange, and we can’t wait to hear about your experiences.
