This coffee comes from Kona, arguably the most famous coffee-growing region of Hawaii. It is produced by Greenwell Farms, a privately owned farm and mill that has operated in Kona since 1850, when it was founded by Henry Nicholas Greenwell. Today it is run by Henry's descendants, and in addition to harvesting, processing, and selling its own coffee, the Greenwells also buy and process fresh cherry from around 300 other local smallholders in the regions of both North and South Kona.
