Martiniano owns both Finca Escapulario and Finca Rancho Bonito, both of which placed very well in this competition.
He starting farming when he was 16 years old. He is considered one of the most important producers for quality in this region.
His wife of 18 years he says is an essential part of his success.
In 2009 he bought a big diesel generator for the farm, and in 2010 he purchased a 20 quintale drier. All of these components are addiing vital support to his quest for some of the best coffee in Mexico.
