Born in Singapore and bred in sunny Perth, Fran found her passion in coffee during her university days, where she fell in love with pouring pretty lattes to make her customers smile. After graduating from a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing, Fran delved straight into the dynamic world of coffee, jumping on new opportunities to learn and develop her skills as a barista.
During a trip with friends to Melbourne, where she attended the Melbourne International Coffee Expo and visited as many cafes as possible, Fran became obsessed with the amazing food and coffee culture of the city. She has now called Melbourne home for the last five years and worked in several stints from Head Barista, Café Manager, and Production Roaster. Her most recent role involved a hybrid of her studies and experiences in coffee as the Social Media & Content Specialist for Veneziano Coffee Roasters.
When she’s not at work, you can find Fran hustling for Bredda Coffee, a micro-roastery project born during the pandemic, focusing on high-quality filter coffees with fun and approachability.
Fran has always admired Café Imports and is extremely excited to be part of the team with a new journey in sales.
