This is Andrew. He is Cafe Imports' founder.
He and his wife Kristen have been importing coffee into Minneapolis since 1993, when he and their Brazilian friend bought their first container of Serra Negra. He has been losing money and/or hair ever since but continues to love the subtleties and adventure of coffee and the insanity of running a small business. Some thirty years later, he still claims to be an accomplished specialty-coffee cupper and has a roaster in his garage.
His hobbies include the great outdoors; fly fishing, biking, Honeybees, literature, gardening, cooking, wine, and hanging out with his grown children.
