Victor was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Growing up on a tropical island probably helped nurture a sense of curiosity and wanderlust. Even if that sounds a little over-embellished, it does mean he comes from a place that’s pretty beautiful, very sunny, and undeniably tropical.
His academic path began with a B.A. in Political Science and another in Anthropology, followed by a stint in law school. Eventually he realized that path wasn’t quite right and decided to pursue what he really wanted: photography. Since then, he’s loved every minute of it.
Before joining Cafe Imports, Victor worked for more than a decade as a commercial photographer. During that time he also owned a bike shop, traveled extensively, and lived in several places around the world.
